Quick & Dirty: 3 ways to build your online presence

Whether you blog for fun or professionally, nearly everyone wants to attract more pageviews and connect with other people in their industry. Here are 3 easy ways to use social media to build your online reputation.

1.     Get social! If you aren’t on Facebook and Twitter already, then it’s time to get moving! Set up a Facebook Fan Page so that people can “like” your work, and stay active with frequent posts and Tweets. You’ll be surprised how many people listen when you have interesting things to say. Not to mention, the beauty and fashion communities might be the most active people I’ve ever encountered on Twitter, so join the conversation!
2.     Send email newsletters: This is a great way to engage your followers. Share new content, noteworthy events or whatever else you think will grab their attention. There are some super easy-to-use programs to help make your newsletter attractive and snazzy. My current favorite platform is Mad Mimi.
3.     Guest blog: Research some other sites that are blogging about your interests or expertise, and get in touch with them about doing a guest post. It’s a great way to open yourself up to new audiences and get more exposure across the web.

Hi everyone! I have decided to let Betterfly.com write a guest post!! I am willing to do the same for anyone  else too. As soon as I heard about Betterfly I knew you guys would all love it, so I just had to share. This is the place to "Find People to Help You Learn, look and feel better." Check it out and let me know what you think!
